What Does Balanced Fitness Mean?

When you think about fitness, often the first things that come to mind are traditional cardio or weight lifting exercises, and how hard you are going to have to work to achieve personal goals like strength or weight loss. Without proper focus on moving in the correct range of motion with the correct control you can bring injury and pain into your life.

Pilates is all about spine length, core strength, and controlled focused movements. You’ll build lean muscle, and strengthen your core and spine.

Melt focuses on preventing or improving chronic pain by hydrating your fascia and reducing stuck stress through lengthening and compression techniques. Melt also uses neurostrength moves to build strength through movement in the correct pathway.

Our combination of MELT Method and Pilates enables you to use controlled movements to build core strength without losing focus of the alignment of your joints. It teaches you to be rooted and centered in your body, and encourages you to take the time to create hydration in your connective tissues to remove stuck stress and enable you to move freely. Every exercise can be modified to meet your body’s unique needs and help you work closer to your fitness goals.
